DRIVESHARE makes movie car dreams come true by providing a platform for owners to list their classic cinema cars for rent to a variety of industries and occasions, including  film production, photo shoots, commercial and special events.

Lights, camera, car

From Steve McQueen’s 1968 “Bullitt” Ford Mustang GT fastback to the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder featured in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” everyone remembers their favorite movie car. Whether you have an oddball vehicle like the 1983 Ford LTD Country Squire station wagon from “National Lampoon’s Vacation” or a stunner that heats up any photo shoot, listing your car for rent on DRIVESHARE for film shoots, TV productions, and photo sessions could make it a star.

When you list your vehicle for these special uses, not only do you earn bragging rights, you can earn some extra cash, which can go a long way toward fueling your automotive passion. And DRIVESHARE allows you to list your ride worry-free:

  • Every renter is screened in advance.
  • Insurance coverage protects the car for the entire rental period.
  • You are always in control of price, mileage and who gets in the driver’s seat.
  • You decide how your car is used — driving, chauffeured or event rentals.

  4. Set your policies: specify rules for fuel type, mileage limits and so on.
  5. Choose which rental types you’ll offer and set the price for each:
    • Driving Rental: Renter drives the car
    • Event Rental: Car is used for display only
    • Chauffeured Rental: Owner or hired chauffeur drives the car
  6. Set the location where renters can pick up your car and whether you provide delivery. You can also set delivery fees based on distance or airport pick up.
  7. Click “Preview listing” to make sure everything looks good, and then click “Done.”
  8. Once the car listing is live, you can also change the availability using the calendar, found under the “Availability” tab.
