Denim Blue 1948 Ford 4dr features a happy smiling face and the famous rear doors that open forward and make is SOOO easy to get in and out, especially if you are in a flowing beautiful wedding dress! What fun to go back in time 75 years when cars were still simple modes of transport... and a radio was considered a deluxe feature! This great Ford is the LAST of the old body cars... the sweeping rear roof ... that cute roundy butt ... it was an end of that style for Ford. Lots of room in the back, less in the front actually but enough space to hold 5 total (including driver)... 3 in back 2 upfront. Seat belts installed... had turn signals added too (yep they didn't become standard until about 7 years later !). All tuned up and ready to roll on those proud wide whitewall tires! Awesome car, great owner! Rented it for a day, now I want to buy one. Mark was a great owner, we chatted for a while about the car, it's history, why he bought it, the rarity of a four door (which is sad because it is much cooler than a two door to me), and how we both enjoyed driving it. It is a manual transmission with the shifter on the column, a first for me, it as a manual transmission diehard, it was a year to drive and very easy to get used to. I highly recommend Mark and his Ford!
