Fully and completely accurate restored 1976 NYPD Pontiac Ventura. The NYPD had approximately 50 of these in 1976 as an experiment in the Manhattan Command. Included in the photos of the current car is the official NYPD department photo taken at the World's Fair Grounds in Queens in 1976.
This color combination and badging was used by the NYPD from 1973 to 1990. The lights and siren are specific to 1973 thru 1977.
I prefer to drive/deliever the car myself and remain on set/location while the car is used. If the car needs to be utilized for an extended period of time I prefer flat bedding the car to the location and then flat bedding it back to me.
